Drs. Rieser and Dadashzadeh publish a simple, 5 factor score to predict the probabiity that pneumoatosis noted on CT is pathologic rather than benign. The study entitled, "Development and Validation of a Five Factor Score fo Prediction Pathologic Pneumatosis" was published in the Journal of Trauma & Acute Care Surgery. Other star residents and students sharing authorship including Drs. Handzel, Kaltenmeier, Moses and Clancy. The team was mentored by Drs. Forsythe and Wu.
