Pitt's Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIE) inspires, educates, and enables others to make an impact on society, improve the regional economy, and transform their careers. The Innovation Institute protects and manages intellectual property generated by Pitt innovators and provides programs, services, and funding to assess the commercial potential of their innovation and accelerate it on the path to market. OIE will provide an overview of the things to consider as you progress in your research and clinical efforts to enhance the translational impact of your work, including intellectual property, public disclosures, and general commercialization steps.
