Blurb: Post-discharge VTE prophylaxis has been shown to be useful and cost-effective after both cancer and orthopedic surgery. In this analysis we explore the cost-utility of post-discharge VTE prophylaxis in trauma patients, given the high risk of VTE after trauma. We'll also discuss current projects with the international COVIDSurg collaborative, as well as a single-surgeon experience with telerounding on inpatient colorectal surgery patients.
