Dr. Linwah Yip is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Endocrine Surgery and Surgical Oncology. She is currently a co-leader in the UPCI Head and Neck SPORE grant. Her primary research focus is evaluating the contribution of molecular markers in the diagnosis and clinical management of endocrine surgery patients. The results have led to prospective trials that study how molecular markers to streamline the care of patients with thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer in particular.
